Requests for CIHS services
are received from a variety of sources such as: a school for
the deaf, Ministries of Health and Education, a service club.
Our initial response may require a visit to the country to determine
the extent of help needed and to outline the responsibilities
of both CIHS and the country, should it be decided that we can
assist them.
The board of CIHS reviews
the report of the visit and determines the extent of help we
can provide. Relevant contacts in the country requesting CIHS
help are then advised of the Board's deliberations. The terms
of any CIHS involvement are then confirmed.
